And Talking About The Drug Lobby...

An article today, from the AP Business wire, reaffirms what I said in my essay on Healthcare - An Update, within The Political Case for Healthcare Reform section, when talking about the FDA and its role in improving the nation's healthcare (click on the title link)...

GAO: FDA fails to follow up on unproven drugs
A report due out Monday from the Government Accountability Office also shows that the FDA has never pulled a drug off the market due to a lack of required follow-up about its actual benefits - even when such information is more than a decade overdue.
